About Caitlin
Prior to joining Blue Chip Estate Planning, Caitlin spent two years at a boutique law firm as a paralegal preparing estate plans for clients. She was also the marketing and communications director.
Before drafting estate plans, Caitlin was Chef de Partie at a fine-dining restaurant in Kalamazoo for four years where she led a team and helped manage the kitchen.
Caitlin graduated from Western Michigan University, Haworth College of Business, with a BA in Business Administration, majoring in Leadership and Business Strategy.
Caitlin enjoys gardening, backpacking, cooking/creating new dishes and baking. She likes to spend time outdoors with her young son and her energetic dog.
What is the most interesting class you have taken in your studies?
History of American Architecture. It was interesting to discover how the history of American architecture is closely linked to the politics and religion of each era. I enjoyed learning about the evolution of architectural styles and the reasons behind the design choices of buildings in different historical periods.
What is the most impactful place you have visited and why?
The most impactful place I have ever visited was my childhood summer camp, YMCA Storer Camp. There, I gained essential life skills that have benefited me both professionally and socially, along with creating incredible memories that will last a lifetime.
Sitting alone in a big field under the stars, what are you thinking about?
How life and creation are truly wondrous and beautiful, showcasing the magnificence of our Earth and the vastness of the surrounding outer space.
