About Kimberly
Kimberly is a Partner at Blue Chip Estate Planning, PLLC. Kim is passionate about building close relationships with her clients and delivering highly-personalized estate planning solutions.
Kim began her legal career after graduating high school and working for large Detroit defense firms. Prior to attending law school, Kim spent more than twenty years being a paralegal assisting corporate clients defending claims in toxic tort and commercial litigation as well as environmental compliance. While attending the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Kim realized that she preferred helping families and not representing large corporations.
With her solid legal foundation, Kim established herself as one of Southeastern Michigan's most respected estate planning and elder law attorneys. She has helped a diverse range of clients achieve their estate planning goals. As an elder law attorney, Kim has devised countless plans to maximize the autonomy and independence of seniors facing significant long-term care expenses.
Her expertise in assisting individuals with special needs has enabled them to preserve funding and achieve their quality-of-life goals. Additionally, Kim has drafted numerous Cottage Trusts, ensuring that generations continue to enjoy the family vacation home.
For over ten years, Kim has worked closely with clients to address their unique estate planning needs. Kim is an exceptional listener who excels at simplifying the estate planning process and takes great pride in educating her clients.
Outside of the practice of law, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, exploring Michigan’s great outdoors and traveling. With her husband and three children, Kim has visited all 50 states and is looking forward to revisiting them with her grandchildren. A native Detroiter, Kimberly is a life-long fan of all Detroit sports teams.
