About Sarah

Sarah brings over a decade of experience helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of estate planning, elder law, and special needs planning. Prior to joining Blue Chip Estate Planning in 2026, she spent 12 years at a respected law firm advising clients on how to protect what matters most, care for loved ones, and put plans in place that work in real life. Sarah is known for her thoughtful and educational approach. She helps clients understand their options so they can move forward with confidence in a process that reflects their unique family dynamics and priorities.

Sarah earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School after moving to Michigan from her home country of Canada. She holds a B.A. from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.

Sarah is married and has two young boys, Wyatt and William, along with two Mini-Bernedoodles, Harry and Marv. She enjoys cheering on Wyatt at baseball and basketball games, building Legos with William, and going on long walks with her dogs. As a family, they love hiking in the Canadian National Parks, boating on Georgian Bay, swimming in their backyard pool, and visiting the Orlando area theme parks. When she has a quiet moment, Sarah enjoys reading, especially thrillers and mysteries.

Describe one thing you loved to do growing up.

I grew up swimming competitively and loved swim meet days. The mix of nerves and excitement before a race is something I still remember vividly.

What is one of your indulgences or splurges?

I never built Legos until I started building them with my sons, and now I am fully a Lego adult. I will occasionally splurge on a larger or popular set, especially the modular buildings and botanical collections.

If you could have one superhuman ability, what would it be?

I would choose teleportation so I could take my family anywhere. Now that my children are old enough to travel, the list keeps growing. Alaska would be first!
